Welcome to BetterBidding!

Unfortunately the property above has not yet been idenitified.

In almost any other area this property would be easily identifiable, but in South Beach there are so many Boutique hotels (and the Suite icon doesn't help much as there are also so many apartment buidilngs turned hotels) that it's hard to make an educated guess.

The Richmond hotel has previously been reported with the amenities above except for the Internet and Suite icons. However, it was last reported over two years ago in this Hotwire Hotel thread... so it's possible that the Suite and Internet icons have been added since then. I'd imagine that the hotel does offer Hi-Speed Internet (which may not have been offered 2+ years ago) which would explain the addition of that icon, but i'm not familiar enough with the property to know if the Suite icon would be applicable.

One other 'caution' is that the HOTWIRE description shows 120+ reviews while this property actually shows 149 comments... this figure is often not completely accurate, but when it is incorrect, it is usually the other way around, with there being slightly fewer TA reviews than HOTWIRE indicates.

HOTWIRE's definition of a suite is in your first post above:

Suite

A guestroom designed for an extended stay and/or that more spacious than the average hotel room. Suites typically offer residential-style furnishings, as well as separate living and sleeping areas; some also offer kitchenettes.

However, and more importantly, the Richmond is showing as a 3* property in the vacation product... the hote you're inquiring about above is 3.5* rated, so this wouldn't likely be the Richmond unless the hotel has two classes of rooms and the suite-type accomodations are considered a half a star higher rated than the 'standard' rooms. There are a few properties which offer two different room classes at different star ratings, but this is more the exception than the rule, and it's not common at all.

thanks for the help and insight....I have done some more digging and called a few hotels and I'm almost positive I have nailed it, The Savoy Hotel.

I think I'm going to book it, I'll keep everyone posted.
