TandEsMommy Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 Hello! Just trying to get the best bang for my buck for a quick overnight to N.O. We're staying 6/21-6/22, looking at a four-star showing up on HOTWIRE and I'm thinking it's the Hilton St. Charles based on the list--it shows pool, business, and internet for $59. Can anyone confirm/deny (I know it's not a guarantee, just looking for another opinion on the possibility). TIA!!

TandEsMommy Posted June 24, 2008 Author Report Posted June 24, 2008 I wanted to add, the Hilton St. Charles was great, very nice, quick walk to both Harrah's and Bourbon St. After we got there, an extra pair of friends joined us and used their cell phone to go to Hotwire. There was a 4* downtown showing the same amenities as us, pool, business, and internet for $69. It was $10 more than we paid but it was nearly 11 p.m., so I thought they might have raised the price. Anyhow, they have the Intercontinental, directly across the street. I just wanted to let it be known that the IC can show up the same amenities as HSC in case someone has their heart set on one or the other :)
thereuare Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Thanks for the report.Glad you enjoyed your stay and the additional purchase still worked out well with the hotel received being across the street.
