windymulder Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 My recent stay at this hotel proved to be nothing short of wonderful! The hotel is beautiful and set in a wonderful location. It is convenient from the freeway and located within walking distance to TGIFridays and DQ. The hotel itself has at least 3 restaurants and I think that 1 offered entertainment. Valet parking is available for around $8 per day, but you can also self-park.Check-in was smooth and courteous. Our room was beautiful with no signs of wear. Sheratons have the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. The beds are also decorated with extra pillows, just the way that I like them. The ice bucket came with a set of tongs-I liked the details.The most enjoyable part of the hotel is the pool. It is a very warm pool that is good sized. However, the best part was the 20 person hot tub! No more sitting with strangers and feeling that you need to carry a conversation with them. The hot tub also worked as a kiddie pool when we were there by ourselves, as it was only 3-feet deep.We didn't try room service or any of the restaurants, so I can't comment on those.I really enjoyed this hotel and felt that $40 per night was a steal. I will certainly try to get this hotel again through Hotwire and wouldn't think twice about a conventional booking.
nupdcop Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 Just stayed there in November 2010. I have to say this is the 4-5 time we have been there and loved it each time. Everything went smooth. We did learn something this past visit. If you are in the large tower ask for a even room numbe if you are getting a king size 1 bed. Rooms feel bigger, have a couch. We were on the 19th floor which is a "special" floor - the room had a free bottle or water. Not sure if this is what makes this floor special.
