Sure...we'll be heading from Chicago to Cleveland on Aug 1 and staying until the 3rd (again 2 nights). We're going to a baseball game so somewhere no too far from the ballpark would be ideal.

Thank you very much for all your help!

I'll look up Cleveland in a moment, but also let me suggest Amtrak from Chicago to Cleveland. You would leave at 10PM and get to Cleveland at 6:05am. You would also not have to go all the way out to the airport in Chicago, as the Amtrak train station is in downtown Chicago. The 10PM departure time out of Chicago would also give you the whole day in Chicago.

A couple ideas for Cleveland:

1. Hyatt at the Arcade - A little more expensive at $138 per night via Expedia.com, but use coupon code WB06 to get $10 off per night, plus you get a $20 daily food/beverage credit.

2. Embassy Suites - $119.50 on Expedia.com - $10 via WB06 coupon code - $109.50.

The Holiday Inn Select is $45 on Hotwire (a 3* in the Downtown zone), but it gets some pretty lousy reviews.

Additionally, if you book one of the Expedia deals, you get a $25 gas card in the mail.

Please use the site's links to Expedia.com or HOTWIRE.

Also, we would greatly appreciate if you could follow-up with what you decided to do, so as to be able to edit the thread title.

So, for Chicago we decided that the Drake deal from HOTWIRE was too good to pass up...so we got the 4* Drake for $99/night (the amenity symbols were fitness centre, Restaurants, business centre and hi-speed internet.

For Cleveland we decided to take a risk on PRICELINE. My boyfriend had a hard time navigating the site but I just used the link from your website and I had no problems. We booked the 4* Renaissance Downtown Cleveland for $79/night! I've heard mixed reviews about this hotel but I'm hopeful : )

Thank you for all your help and tips. I won't plan a trip without this website again!!!

Very happy that I could help! The Drake win was superb, and while the Renaissance does get a few mixed reviews, the few negatives seemed to not respond well to the fact that it was a historic hotel (and looks to be a pretty beautiful property from the photos) and the PRICELINE rate was certainly excellent at just about half off.

Again, happy to help and hope we can help for future trips. :)
