Update, after being so happy to get such a deal, I called hotel to request 2 seperate beds since I have 2 adults and 2 kids as suggested by previous poster, and hotel refuses to do so even though I ask nicely. Add to the fact they they will charge me 42$ per night for parking makes this deal a deal from hell!! So lesson is when reading from people post, if you like the price and hotel name, do extra research before bidding on it like find out what other extras cost :)

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Sorry to hear you're having a hard time with the occupancy issue. I'd try again in a day or two and see if you can get somebody else to answer the phone who will enter your request for two beds. What was the response from the desk clerk when you asked for two beds? (will they simply not guarantee it or not make any changes or requests at all)

Unfortunately in this situation you're at the mercy of the hotel since all that is guaranteed thru PRICELINE is double occupancy. If you're looking for more than double occupancy HOTWIRE is often a better option since they enable you to search for up to quad occupancy. Many often choose to 'take the risk' since PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE, but it's situations such as this when paying an extra $10-$20 seems like a good investment.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.

Hi, I finally found the trick, and that is to call and talk to front desk and not reservation, in reservation, everyone you speak with refuses to make any changes to the priceline reservation as if some robots following some stupid rules. I finally decided maybe front desk is more helpful, and they graciously helped me with request for 2 double beds.

Will update on the stay, but this hotel charges 42$ for valet parking and 12$ for internet service. FOund out you can park across street for 10$ overnight. So maybe it will be an OK stay afterall

Yes, you always want to deal directly with the front desk and not 'central reservations'.

Glad you got the occupancy issue resolved... the other charges you refer to are typical for the area. (and are the same all others guests pay)

Enjoy your stay.
