DeanI Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 I started at $30 and incresed the price in $5 increments until I got to $40. At $35 it offered to let me rebid with a $9 increase instead I went to $40 and added north Phoenix which only had resorts or 2 star and below. It accepted the price at $40. The board did not mention this hotel however and Trip Advisor shows pretty bad reviews. Oh well its only for 1 night. Used the link on Betterbidding to access PRICELINE.
thereuare Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Thank you for sharing your win with the board. The reviews are fairly negative for this one, even at PRICELINE's own website (in the 'retail' version they give some reviews). Hopefully $40 it will serve your purpose, but if you're not happy with this one, you may want to contact PRICELINE ask them to re-evaluate the star rating. Unfortunately they're usually not too quick to act in this regard, but it may be worth a shot give the reviews on their own website are less than 'stellar'.Thank you for helping us add this property to the Priceline Hotel List and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Hopefully your stay goes better than expected. (if you do pursue anything with PRICELINE let us know the outcome) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Danni0005 Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 This hotel has gotten pretty bad. Stinks. No way a 3* or in the class that Hyatt and Wyndham are. I use HOTWIRE now--the 4* "should be" Hyatt.
