economyclass Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 I just won the 4* Renaissance Hotel by the Convention center for $90/night for August 30th- August 31st, Sat-Sun. I probably could have got it cheaper because I lokd on the hotels website after I won and saw that they are only asking $129/night. I know its pretty far off the strip but all of the people in my party have been to Vegas before and the monorail station is adjacent to the hotel along with the free Wynn shuttle bus to their hotel so I think we should turn out ok. I bid up $135/night on PRICELINE for 4* North and South Strip and never even got a counter, just rejections so I added "west of the strip" knowing Rio was the only 4* there and lost. I then added "convention center area" and lowered my bid to $90 and won. I am staying an additional 2 nights after this at the Wynn through a promo rate I got in the mail for $139/night. At that rate I couldn't say no. We did use the PRICELINE links on this website for booking. Thanks Again.

On my last trip home from Vegas i sat next to a man on the airplane who had stayed at the Renaissance and had nothing but praise for the hotel (he's a road warrior, so he knows hotels, but also has status with Marriott and was ugpraded)Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay (and your subsequent stay at the Wynn) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
