Priceline Hotel: Two double beds!!

Okay first time to try this.... going to chicago first time.... by train.....

I am going with my sisters, nieces,and mother for one night...

we will need two rooms with 2 double beds. what are my odds

in getting that if I name my own price? Please any advice

would be greatly appreciated!

There is *no* guarantee of two beds if you use PRICELINE.

It's tough to help without more information - how many adults/children in your party, what is your max budget and what are your dates of travel?

sorry we have 6 adults and 2 children and we would like to bid a 4 star hotel

and we are traveling july 2-3 as of budget we would like some ideas on a

good starting bid price....

Are you checking out the 3rd or the 4th?

If you search on Hotwire.com for 7/2-4, for 2 rooms and 6 adults/2 children total, then there is a 3.5* in the Mag Mile/Streeterville area with the amenities: Suite, free breakfast, fitness, pool, restaurant, business for $109

This would likely be the Embassy Suites Lakefront and, in this kind of situation w/8 people, this is really the only thing I'd recommend. I would not recommend Priceline for 8 people in 2 rooms. Plus, in this case, you'd be getting suite rooms and free breakfast.

Search for 2 rooms, 6 adults and 2 children on HOTWIRE.com for 7/2-checkout 7/3 in chicago. You should see a 3* in the Mag Mile/Streeterville area with the amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Complimentary Breakfast, Hi-Speed Internet, Golf, Tennis, Laundry for $93 per room.

This is likely the Hampton Inn Downtown.

2 rooms here should be fine for only 1 night.
