tbug Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Can anyone help identify these hotels? I put in 1 room for 3 adults on 6/27-6/29. Need to be in mag-mile or NMA. I have a 3.5 NMA for 162.00 Amenities : Boutique, fitness, restaurant, Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa. or a 3 in mag-mile with fitness, pool, restaurant, Internet, Business for 146.00. Looks like these are my only options unless I jump over the 200.00 mark. If I could find a king & a sofa or 2 doubles w/ a sofa we could make do... Also when I put same info in w/ only 2 adults I have a better selection. I tried to identify them & look up if they offered roll aways. Alot of them did but when I add a third person alot of rooms are eliminated? Hope you can help. 3 moms really needing a break! Thanks Tbug
AaronJB Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Some hotels with Hotwire do only participate in terms of two person occupancy, so when you search for more than two people, they do not appear. The 3.5NMA hotel has not yet been identified, but may be the Affinia. You can get the Affinia for cheaper via Expedia.com by using a coupon. The 3* would likely be the City Centre Hotel (although by that time it may have changed to a Doubletree.)Let me also make a few other suggestions:1. Orbitz.com has a 24-hour sale for the Amalfi Hotel for $216.22. If you entered the coupon code SUMMERFAM, you get 10% off, which is approximately $21.62 per night discount, bringing you down to $194 and change. While that would be more expensive, you would be booking a room w/2 queen beds and getting a hotel that offers a light breakfast and evening reception.2. On Expedia.com for these dates, the Affinia has a Junior Suite w/1 Queen Bed (they do not list 2 bed options, although I do believe there are some 2 bed rooms there - when you look on their website, they do list Junior Suites w/2 beds. However, prices for these dates on the hotel website are MUCH more expensive than this Expedia deal) for $164.50 non-refundable. Use coupon code WB06 for $10 off per night = $154.50 per night.Additionally, if you book via Expedia.com with a Mastercard, you get a $25 gas card. Please use our links to HOTWIRE, Orbitz.com or Expedia.com, depending on which route you do decide to take. Please also feel free to ask if you have any questions.
thereuare Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Do any of the Orbitz or Expedia options above work for you?I'll also add that you may be able to get a 4* hotel in the Loop zone for under $100 thru PRICELINE for these dates... cheap enough to bid for two rooms, have more space and an extra bathroom for getting ready, and still be comprable to booking one room for triple occupancy on HOTWIRELet us know your thoughts regarding the above options and we'll take it from there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. (or Expedia and Orbitz) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
