Welcome to BetterBidding!

Is Times Square the only zone you're willing to accept? Have you been to NYC before... as most of the midtown zones at the 4* level work well for the average visitor. Mass transit is fairly inexpensive and readily available, as well as the zones all being compact and adjacent to one another, that without something specific in mind you need to be near i can't imange one midtown zone having too much priority over another.

We'll advise a strategy for whatever you'd like to try for, but adding more zones increases your chances of success as it gives more hotels the opportunity to accept your bid and therefore increases you chance of a better price as well.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed, or any questions you have, and we'll advise accordingly.

Yes I have been, but have never bid on hotels before, so slightly concerned, I am taking my sister, who has never been and is looking forward to staying in "heart of NY" TS.

I would be willing to stay in CPS, MTW, MTE but would prefer TS. Thanks for you assistance! It is greatly appreciated.

So are you willing to pay more for a Times Square hotel vs. the other zones?

Do you want to bid up to your limit in Times Square first, then if unsuccessful, start over at lower bids and include the other acceptable zones?

...or is price ultimatley the most important and you would prefer the least expensive 4* hotel in any of the above zones?

Let us know and we'll suggest a strategy accordingly.

Congratulations on your win!

A great rate for this property. As this is in the MTW zone, i assume price won out over a Times Square location (not that this property is too far away)

If you get the late nite munchies check out the "Hallal Food Cart" across the street from the Hilton (on the same side of Sixth Avenue):

(NOTE: not the cart there in the afternoon... only the one there from 7:30pm-4am, they're well known and you'll see a line there almost throughout the nite)
