jacomoll Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 Can you provide assistance on bidding for these dates and zones. I checked calendar of wins, but I was not able able to get any successful bids awarded. It seems to be a peak time in NYC. Direct hotel rates are very high. Currently have a back up at a 2* hotel at rate of $239 but looking for something along the same rate at a higher quality hotel. Any suggestions?
thereuare Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! Is there a reason you're not including the MTE and/or ESB zones in your bidding? How high have you already bid and been rejected for the above zones? Where is your back-up hotel? Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?Let us know the above and we'll take a closer look at your stay. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. jacomoll Posted June 9, 2008 Author Report Posted June 9, 2008 Bid up to $240 but did not include ESB or MTE. I am searching for my parents and they were just looking to stay more toward the Times Square area. Not real famialiar with ESB zone. The rate for $239 is at the Milford Plaza, but rooms are very, very small. I would like to see them stay someplace else.Any suggestions are appreciated!
thereuare Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 I would sooner expand my zone to MTE and ESB before staying at the Milford Plaza. (although for these dates not sure how much it will help)Is ~$240 their maximum bid?
