Could you please help me with bidding strategy for Austin Airport area for Monday, June 9, 2008 for 1 night? I would like a 3* at the lowest reasonable price.

Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Kansas City thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... then let us know your maximum bid for the above stay (we wouldn't want to suggest a strategy that went higher than you wanted to bid) and we'll advise accordingly.

I was hoping $50 to $60 range.

At the three star level you only have one re-bid zones available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Not sure if $60 will be enough, so with little time before your stay i would try as follows:

Select 3* Airport...

Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $60.
