thereuare Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Is $150 your maximum bid for this stay? What is the best rate you're able to find thru convention methods? (use our BetterChecker to assist in your rate search)What is your gameplan if not successful with PRICELINE up to $150? Do you have a back-up reservation? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. andymott Posted June 8, 2008 Author Report Posted June 8, 2008 the best rate I could find through conventional methods was comfort suits boston logan in Hotels.com lower than even their own pricing on their website. the boston marriot at quincy for 200four points sheraton at logan for 192I would however still try to stay in the city for 120-150$ in for 3 or4* properties
thereuare Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Note that the Boston Marriott at Quincy is not by Quincy Market, but rather in Quincy MA, which is a good 10 miles from the city. If this properyt is acceptable you can book it thru GTA Hotels for $141/nite. GTA Hotels also has the Dobuletree Club Bayside, a bit closer to the city, for $159/nite. You dont' mention the rate at the Comfort Suties Logan but it can be had thru Quickbook for $183/nite.There is also a 3* avaialble thru HOTWIRE in the Airport zone for $129/nite... no amenities shown and not yet identified. (only 2.5/5.0 Tripadvisor ratings os proceed with cautionAre you willing to bid up to $150 for all acceptable zones? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. (or the other links in this post if you go with the other booking services)Does any of the aobve work for your needs? Metropolitan Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 Hi, There seems to be very hard to get good rates for Downtown Boston hotels around June 23-25. I have tried all kinds of searches. I guess there is some kind of big convention going on.I found a room at Holiday Inn Boston-Sommerville at a reasonable rate.
