I am looking to bid for the first time on priceline. June 14th - 16th in NYC, 4*, in CPS, TS, MW, ME, or ESB areas. I have booked the Millenium Hilton as a back up for $199 per night. So, the max price I would accept from priceline would be $170. Suggestions on how to bid would be appreciated. Also, I would prefer a king or queen size bed. Is it possible to request this and is it likely to get what you want?

Thanks,

Melissa

Welcome to BetterBidding!

At the 4* level you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone2...

Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone3...

Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone4...

Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone5...

Bid $145, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINE

Select 4* CPS, TS, MW, ME, and ESB and re-bid zone6...

Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone2...

Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone3...

Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone4...

Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone5...

Bid $175 (i've included this bid, and while i think you'll have success before here, if you do reach here i would bid it since the extra $5 would, imo, be worth it for a midtown hotel vs. the Downtown location you have as a back-up)

Any questions feel free to ask.

I just got the New York Hilton on Priceline for $120 for Saturday, June 14. I see that you want Saturday and Sunday but Sundays are usually the cheapest night of the week so you might get this hotel for both nights for that price.

Be sure you use the PRICELINE link in thereuare's post above when you bid.
