PapaCat Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Used the PRICELINE search box at the top of the Better Bidding page.1 night, July 13, 2008, Atlanta Georgia.Started with 3*, Midtown, $40 = rejected.Added Atlanta West, $45 = Accepted. Georgian Terrace.Crazy good deal. I've stayed here before and some of the rooms are TINY TINY TINY like in European hotels, but we only use them to sleep and shower, plus we are used to small hotel rooms. At this price, even if we get the closet facing the Fox (which can be loud) this is an absolute steal! Room service breakfast last time was excellent also. We all rely on each other for information. Please do your part to keep BetterBidding the best place to research Priceline bids: 1. Remember to start your bidding with the BB PRICELINE link. 2. When you win, post your results here so others can learn from your experience. 3. If you had to do rebids or have bidding tips, pass them along when you can. THANKS!
thereuare Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Congratulations on your win!At check-in, you may want to mention something along the lines of "we've stayed here a few times before so i know the rooms are not uniform and some are larger than others. We like to order room service for breakfast, and we once had a really small room so it wasn't really that enjoyable, anything you can do to give me a room with some space would be greatly appreicated".Room service is a high margin product for the hotel, so you're basically letting them know up front that you intend, and have in the past, purchsed additional services from the hotel. Keeping you out of a small room would increase the chances that you'll be ordering room service again.Glad to hear you're happy with the results. Thanks for sharing it with the board and using a PRICELINE source on the board to begin your bidding.Have a great stay.
