austin_res Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 My first bid on PRICELINE for my first trip to Chicago for 4th of July weekend.Bid $65 for a 3* hotel in downtown Chicago, was accepted and upgraded to a 4*.Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $65.00Subtotal: $195.00Taxes & Service Fees: $38.42Total Charges: $233.42I'm very happy with the price I got for the Hyatt (and I've had great experiences with Hyatt hotels), especially considering the convenient location and that it's during a holiday period. Flying into O'Hare from Austin,TX and using the CTA to get around so no worries about parking.
