Wanted 4* in Gaslamp area, but willing to go 4* in Coronado. Could get 4* through Hotwire for $154 plus taxes

Total w/ taxes and fees $115.26 at the Hilton Gaslamp Quarter. Current best internet rate at Hilton is $237 plus tax.

BTW, reason for going was afternoon Padres game. Hotel is two block from PetCo park and the Padres are selling a bunch of tickets at 2 for 1 that day along with hot dogs at 2 for 1. $40 field level seats for $20.

So spent $155 TOTAL for two people to go to game and hotel. Usual total would be $317 plus tax.
