Hi Experienced Users,

I am trying to bid for a Resort on the beach for the dates 7/27 - 8/2 and for the past 2 weeks, I've been getting denied. Is it too early? I would appreciate any guidance or advice you guys may have....

my current bidding strategy is

waikiki beach - 120

add diamond head - 125

add airport - 130

add city central - 135

add marina - 140

add wainanea - 145

add exec center - 150

and do it all over again the next day....I see people are locking down rates for 130...I dont mind paying up to 150

Lowest rack rate I found was 230 with AAA discount for the dates above....or 270 without the AAA.

am i asking for too many nights?

Hi,

I think if you copy your request onto a thread for Priceline bidding, you would probably get more help. Most people that post in the Hotwire threads are looking for help with I.D.ing a hotel, not a strategy for bidding. :)

Actually, continuing the thread would be the correct course of action since all stays for the same stay go in the same thread (we'll then move to the other section of the board if PRICELINE is ultimately used)
