hows_it_shakin Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Hi all,I'm an extremely green newbie using betterbidding to see if I can get a nice hotel for my friends and I. One of my friends did a regular booking last time and got a suite in the Venetian for 300/night. I decided to give this website a try and see if there were possibilities to get a cheaper rate at the Venetian or around the same quality, although I'm not sure quite where to start or how to work this. Any help in going about this matter would be greatly appreciated. Our nights would be 7/18 and 7/19.Thanks!
thereuare Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!Start here: I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire. The current "issue" with bidding the 5* in the North Strip zone is that the Trump International has recently been reported in addition to the Venetian and the Palazzo. While the reviews of the new Trump property have been very good... it doesn't have a casino and is located off the strip (although still in the North Strip zone). Would this be an acceptable property for you to receive? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. hows_it_shakin Posted June 5, 2008 Author Report Posted June 5, 2008 i think my friends and i would prefer a hotel with a casino, if possiblethanks!
thereuare Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 The issue is that with PRICELINE you can't "choose" a hotel with a Casino... you can only select the minimum star rating and the zone(s) you're willing to accept. You can use HOTWIRE which will show you a Casino icon if the hotel has one... does anything currently show up at the star level you desire, within your budget, and with a Casino icon on HOTWIRE?
