thereuare Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 In the PENNSYLVANIA HOTWIRE HOTELS LIST (second post) this property appears to match the CROWNE PLAZA.This appears to be in the Central Harrisburg area although it's not entirely clear from Hotwire's map (there is a river in the area which i don't think Hotwire's map shows). What i did was look at this hotel using the map at the hotel's website and if you find the intersection of Rte. 76 and Rte. 83, this hotel is due north of that intersection. Using the same highway intersection of Hotwire's map makes the Crowne Plaza appear to be in the Central Harrisburg zone. :) Hotel's website indicated and indoor pool but you should double check this yourself (as well as confirm the zone).Let us know what you decide to do and how it goes... or feel free to ask any add'l questions. lwitchel Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 For what it's worth, the Crowne Plaza shows up on Priceline (3* Harrisburg Downtown) - I got it at $39, which seemed to be the going rate in March '04. I have a review of my stay in the Hotel Reviews forum as well.
Garfield Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 Please see my 3 1/2* POST about the Crowne Plaza. My sister says it does have an indoor pool, but it was not working at the time she stayed due to a group a week before damaged it. She would not stay there again.
