Priceline Hotel: 3* Chicago (NMA-River North) Chicago City Centre Hotel

I just won this at $90 for 3 nights june 28th to july 1st on priceline - hopefully i didn't get ripped off, it's my first try at this. I also just found out that this hotel will become a doubletree on june 17th - will this affect my win? Is there a chance that the new ownership won't accept the win? What are my options if this is the case?

There should be no issue with the hotel accepting the reservation - this is simply a name change. The City Centre (which used to be a Holiday Inn) also has been under renovation in recent months in preparation for the change (which I thought was going to happen in July, but I guess has been put back to June.)

Plus, at least now if it is a Doubletree when you get there, you'll at least get a Doubletree cookie or two at checkin.

If you're looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat nearby, there is the Fox & Obel Market and Cafe - a gourmet market and cafe (see fox-obel.com for menu/details) a couple of blocks away at McClurg and Illinois (on the SE corner.)
