Priceline Hotel: Priceline Newbie Hotel Help New York Feb 09

Hi all,

I am new to the whole Priceline and Hotwire scene. I am planning on going to New York with my partner in Feb 09 (Feb02-Feb10) and am looking for some help/advice in finding a hotel in Manhattan for the best price using PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.

I would like to spend less than $150 - $180 per night for the 10 nights in a 3* or 4* hotel.

Any help that you can give would be appreciated. If you need any other information please ask.

Which PRICELINE zone(s) are you willing to accept? Also, what are the actual dates of your stay (check-in/check-out) as you list your dates as Feb 2-Feb 10 but then mention that it's a 10 nite stay.

Are you willing to pay more for a 4* hotel vs. a 3* or are you looking for the least expensive 3* or better property for your dates?
