Priceline Hotel: How far in advance are rooms available

Hi,

We are planing a trip to Hawaii 300 days from now. Is there a time that rooms become available? I have tried several low ball bids and been unsuccessful.

Rooms can be release up to 330 days before the date of the stay.

Which area of Hawaii are you bidding? What are the dates of your stay? What minimum star rating are you selecting? How high have you bid already?

I will use the links. We are heading to Maui April 3-11, 2009 and have been bidding on the "resort" rating of hotels. I have been low balling up to $160 to test things and have been unsuccessful so far. I realize it is during the high season and may require a higher bid but was worried that the rooms were not listed so far in the future. I have used you recommendations before and have been very happy with the results.

No I can and will go higher but wanted to make sure there were rooms available before I over bid. I have read you other FAQ and thoughts.

Hotels can enter rates into the system this far in advance... but that doesn't mean that they have. "Chasing" this is not recommended as you could potentially overbid if you bid this far ahead of your stay without a close eye on current rates and historical bidding history.

Which zone(s) within Maui are you bidding?
