Hi All,

I noticed that on hotwire, they give some examples of hotel chains that they associate with different star ratings. For example, they associate Leading hotels of the World and Omni hotels with 4.5*ratings. Has anyone ever won a bid for a hotel that has corresponded with the examples that hotwire gives? Just curious. Hope this long-winded question makes sense.

The hotels they mention are really just guidelines to the star ratings. For instance we have seen Omni hotels which are rated 4.5* and Omni hotels which are rated 3*... it's really hotel specific and there is not a consistency of star ratings across and entire brand.
