I need some help in indentifying this 2* Hotel in Mid Town South Manhattan, NY. It is priced at $156.00 per night between Aug 1 - 6, 2008. It comes with breakfast, Internet access and Fitness Centre.

The property above has not yet been identified, but i would be very cautious regarding a 2* hotel in NYC. Is $155 your maximum budget?

I would sooner recommend booking the Desmond Tutu Center for $149/nite as a cancellable back-up and continue to try PRICELINE (or HOTWIRE) in the months/weeks to come as summer is slow season and i think youc an do better than the above. This hotel is a little "out of the way" (about a 10 minute walk to the subway) but the reviews so far have been very good and if booked HERE it is cancellable up until a few days before your arrival. (current sale ends 5pm EST today, then the price goes up a little)

We are planning on booking three rooms there and we have kids, so we would like to have a good, safe area of New York. This is our first time.

Also, do you know if the rooms in this hotel are one bed or two beds?
