Priceline Hotel: 3* Chicago Suburbs (Bloomingdale-Itasca) Doubletree Wood Dale

I was trying for the (4*) Eaglewood Resort. Bids of $50, $60, $65 and $70 were rejected.

At this point I gave up on the Eaglewood and started looking at 3*. I would have gone higher for the Eaglewood but didn't want to pay over $70 and end up at the Westin.

First 3* bid of $45 was accepted. Used the BetterBidding PRICELINE link.

In retrospect I'm a little sheepish that I wasn't more aggressive. Chicago Suburbs has a large number of good rebid zones. For my 3* bid, Algonquin, Arlington North, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Elmhurst, and St. Charles were all safe rebid zones. NOTE: Hoffman Estates now appears to have a 3* hotel in it.
