Hilly Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Hello, This is my first post here. I've been reading and checking the Calendar of Wins for the past couple of months. Have been very unsucessful for the Airport area in Seattle for a late flight in and flight out the next morning. Today put a bid in of $50 and was given a counter possibility of adding $14 to be sucessful. I tried to give a lesser amt. but the same screen kept coming up so I gave in and added the $14 and got the Red Lion for $64 plus tax. Was bidding for 2 rooms/ one night. This has been the hardest area to get a good deal in, I've been much more sucessful with other areas of the country such as Chicago and Spokane. By the way, not sure they always do this but will allow me to extend the stay at the same rate. Thanks for all the great strategies here, very helpful! Details: $64.00 for 2 roomsSubtotal $128Taxes & Service fees $27.12Total $155.12
