I will be going to Boston for the first time in July. Plan to score something near downtown. Not sure which one is more convenient.

But does anyone know about the approximate rates on 14 to 19 July ?

I dont plan to rent a car so I would prefer to stay at downtown area.

Sorry what I was referring to are Copley Square and Quincy Market/Financial District.

I tried travel clicker and could not find a deal there.

Just for update, already tried to bid 3 times with maximum bid of $140 but was rejected. Help please.... :)

Since you've bid up to your limit you can either:

-wait it out and try again

-add another zone which might be acceptable

-lower your star rating

-raise your maximum bid

-split your bid (although not sure this would be recommended this far ahead of your stay)

Not sure how first your budget is, but you're probably not too far away... as well, HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the Back Bay-Copley Square zone for $167/nite (Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Business)... best guess is the Colonnade hotel, if that is appearling to you at all.

Yes, I think I am going to wait. Maybe when they release more inventory. Strangely, whenever I go to HOTWIRE the rate for colonade is around $180ish. Thanks anyway! :)

Yes I did. And today it's $179. I think I will try to rebid on Monday unless you dont think it is a good idea. I just rebid and used 3 free bids up to 155 and still got rejected again.
