thereuare Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 The above matches the Catalina, Chesterfield, Whitelaw, and the Hotel Chelsea, so all of these are likely candidates, but i think the one you're seeing is most likely the Chesterfield or the Chelsea and these would be our best guesses. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. We want stay close to the beach and would have car along with us. 100 dollars per night is what we can afford, want to make sure we get the best value for our money and a pleasant experience. Thanks for you help. I will use HOTWIRE for booking.
thereuare Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 How about the 3.5* properties in the Miami Beach ($69) or South Beach ($84) zones on HOTWIRE? Or just bidding on PRICELINE?This is a trendy area, and with that usually comes overpriced hotels, many of which wouldn't command the rates they're able to if they were almost anywhere else in the country. As well, many of the hotels survice soley based upon their location, so it's not uncommon to see negative reviews... almost expected in this area if not at the very top of the star rating pyramid. blueguy19 Posted May 21, 2008 Author Report Posted May 21, 2008 Thanks for your advice. I will definitely use the link provided to book the hotel. I would be okay with North Miami beach or Hollywood beach or Fort Lauderdale beach hotels. I want hotel to be very good and nice at that price (GREEDY :))Also can you suggest something on similar lines for Key West June 13th to June 15th 2008.I can see a 2 star for 105 (which I believe is Days Inn) and another one 2.5 star for 123 (which I believe is Comfort Inn). Please advice. Thanks a lot for your help.
thereuare Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Would a Days Inn or a Comfort Inn meet your needs for this trip?I don't think you're going to find anything "nice" in Key West at $100/nite.
