Jay Daniel Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I have posted here before but anyways, first time in Europe so far looking around the board, 4star in both mentioned citites should be just under $150 USD?The normal hit for Amsterdam seems to be Moevenpick ? Whats the norm for downtown Paris is theres such a thing.
thereuare Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Rates are date specific so there is no "normal" price for a range in either city. As well, Paris is a BIG place, so a lot of what type of rate you should expect for your particular dates depends upon which zone(s) you're interested in staying. You can start by using the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins to see if any hotels have been reported around the same time as your stay as well as give HOTWIRE a search (which shows prices but not hotel names). These may give you a 'feel' for what type of prices you're looking at and determine if you're in the right ballpark. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you find and how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. lmldds Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 Did you have any luck with Paris? I am looking for Paris for June 22-27. Thanks!
Jay Daniel Posted May 25, 2008 Author Report Posted May 25, 2008 I have not started bidding and would probably do so in the next week, I was looking through some comments and etc and it seeem the Champ Elysses area is the best bet ? What sort of prices can I expect to pay in this area? I assume at 170 to 200 USD this is still signifigant savings for a 4 star hotel in that area?
thereuare Posted May 25, 2008 Report Posted May 25, 2008 Jay Daniel,Please post once you're ready to start bidding.
