Is this the only known Resort in this area or did you keep your bidding low enough to avoid any other potential resorts?

I would think that you'll need to pay the resort fee at the property, as Priceline bids don't typically include the resort fee.

Yep only resort in Lake Tahoe area

So South Tahoe and Carson City were free rebids (105 and 112)

This was for a thur-fri night, the wedn-thursd night I'll be staying in Embassy Suites (South lake tahoe through Hotwire: 82$)

But I also need a friday-sat night: 23-24th July.

And that is going to be sooooooooooooo difficult to get a decent price anywhere in this region.

Well, I'll keep bidding and probably settle for a 2* that night through priceline.(+/-60-70$)

Maybe hotwire gives me some lousy crap hotel in the middle of nowhere...

July 21st I'll leave from Las Vegas so I have a 500-600km drive to Lake Tahoe with the rented car.

Anyone drove that same trip Las Vegas-Lake Tahoe?

Just cruising probably 75mph?

In Belgium we race through the streets like idiots, it's going to be nice to just drive with cruise control.

Hope I'll enjoy the landscape.

Hyatt is the Lake Tahoe NORTH

Can't risk a 3 star in that region because priceline will/can give you Northstar Tahoe in Truckee...
