emma Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Hello,This is my first visit and I wondered if anyone could help. I have searched but apologies if all this is already been asked/answered I'm still learning my way around. All advice is appreciated.I am trying to identify the following hotels in PARIS for 17-19 July 083* Eiffel Tower- Musee d'orsay- Invalides. No detials $129/night and 4 on Tripadvisor.3.5* Louvre Marais Boutique, Business Centre. High Speed Internet. $186/night and again 4 on TA4* Champs Elysees - Trocadsero. Restaurants,Business Centre HS Internet $189 3 on TAAs you can tell I am not sure where to stay but we are happy to walk and understand the Metro is good so just looking for the best hotel we can get for up to about $220.Thanks
thereuare Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! The 4* is a match for the Le Meridien Etoile so that woudl be our best guess for that porperty. Unfortunately the other two properties have not yet been identified, but i'll add some caution regarding the 3 star... hotel ratings in Europe are a bit more 'generous' than here in the states and the 3 star, without any amenities, may not be what you're expecting. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you end up doing for this stay or if we can be of further help. NancyC45 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I have no idea what hotels those would be...however... Having been to Paris, I can tell you that any of these locations would put you relatively close to one or two main attractions, with a fair hike to any others. The metro is great so you will be fine no matter where you go. Paris is a lovely city (aside from the doggie do) and you will enjoy it no matter where you end up. :)
