Priceline Hotel: 4* Ottawa-Hull (Ottawa) Marriott

I am trying to win a Ottawa, Canada 4* hotel with little success. Have followed the tips as described in previous emails.

Goal: 4* hotel for Ottawa for <$80 per night (not including taxes, etc.) for 2 nights

Checkin date: May 17, 2008

Checkout date: May 19, 2008

Have also tried to do the same search under hubby's credit card, but the priceline website rejected the search as a "duplicate request."

Failed bid history:

Ottawa - $50

Ottawa + Hull = $55

Ottawa + Hull + Ottawa West = $70

All Ottawa Zones = $80

No luck. And I've tried this search 3 x's during the past week.

Is the Tulip Festival, etc. taking up all the hotel rooms? Am I to resign myself to a $85+ hotel room?

Was finally successful after too many attempts.

Gave up on the $2 - $3 increments and went hog wild with $10 increments.

Bid was won through PRICELINE link at Better Bidding.
