mi2k Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I tried $49 for the same dates as this 3* downtown Pittsburgh Marriott thread, but no joy. $49 did not work for 2.5* either. Then I had my wife bid $80 for 3*. That worked! -- we got Doubletree. I think rooms are filling up because of elementary school national chess tournament that weekend.I am a PRICELINE novice. What would have been the right way to approach bidding here?
