chrishas8 Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 Any help hints or tips for the above dates 12th June - 18th June 2008. I have tried some low bids from $155 and now am getting close to $170 mark. Is this too high am I bidding too early or is this a busy time of year and hotel occupancy is high. I am used to using Priceline but was wandering if I am being too optimistic to win any thing less than $150. Would as always like the 4 star but I am thinking 3 star is more likely. I am trying all area usually in the following order central park, midtown, midtown south then midtown west then east. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. thanks.
chrishas8 Posted May 5, 2008 Author Report Posted May 5, 2008 Finally won a bid today, tried many different stratergies. Worked my way throught $150 all the way to $184. Won the Rooselvelt good loaction always wanted a four star hotel but this will be fine. Hope this was a good winnning bid. Is June an expensive time to stay in New York.
