madcity
I wanted a 4* in Downtown San Diego - started bidding yesterday at $95 and went up to $145 by adding free redbid zones...no luck. Came back today (using BetterBidding's PRICELINE link) and tried $90 San Diego Coastal - Priceline counteroffered with $22 and I bid $97 - was accepted for Paradise Point. Is it really as bad as it looks on TripAdvisor? thereuare
Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board.I've certainly seen worse reviews for a property... these seem 'love it or hate it' and i suspect the rooms at the hotel are of varying quality. If you're not happy with the room assigned speak to management, politely and calmly explain what it is that you don't like about the accomodations, and see if you can switch rooms to something more acceptable.Good luck and keep an open mind... enjoy your stay.
