mrmagoo Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Great site. Used the info from a previous forum member and was eventually able to book the Grant Hyatt in New York, midtown East.I Used "The Link" to PRICELINE to help support this forum. On my first try on Priceline, I had selected Midtown East, 4*, put my dates in May/23/08-May/26/08, placed a bid for $150/night. About 30 seconds later, it was accepted.Though in hindsight, I should have bid lower, $150/night I feel is reasonable for a 4* New York hotel.
thereuare Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win... for this time of year it is an excellent rate.Glad to hear that the information on the board was helpful in your purchase.Thank you for sharing your results with the board and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding. For breakfast one morning, try Ess-A-Bagel (on Third Ave at 51st St) which is a short walk from this hotel... one of the best bagels in the city and makes for an inexpensive, but good, breakfast (with locals i might add!)Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
