Many hotels were booked or were $300+/night in downtown. Bid at priceline.com two weeks prior to arrival.Downtown 4* - 65/75/80/90/100/110/115Coronado 4* - 90/100/125/13511th bid won for $135 at Loews Coronado.Lowest rate online for this property was $229, so very pleased to save almost $100.Loews is further from downtown than we wanted to stay, so I did not extend another night, even though we are staying a total of two nights in San Diego.
