hotdogstand Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Unfortunately, all the cross-country Amtrak trains to/from Cleveland arrive and depart in the wee hours (e.g. 3 am). I've noticed in a lot of posts in the various regional forums that people were unable to get late arrival along with their bid; I thought late arrival was a standard procedure (they're getting the money either way; why should they care that you only use the room for the later part of the night?). Is this a particular problem for Priceline/Hotwire reservations? Any tips?
rc408 Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Did the hotel tell you that they will not allow you to show up then? I've never had a problem with it. I would call the hotel directly and talk to them, ask for a manager if you need to. As long as they are open (some hotels desks are closed late at night) they should be OK with it.
