Well I lost out on the James by waiting too long :)

We are going to be in Chicago for one night on 4/29

Now my options are:

3 1/2 star Michigan Ave $94

fitness, Restaurant, business, internet

(Thinking this is either the Allerton or the Ambassador East)

3 1/2 star Mag. Mile $115

Boutique, fitnesss, business, internet

Any ideas on this one??

The NMA hotel is a match for both the Allerton and the Ambassador East so either of these would be our best guess.

The MagMile hotel is a match for the Hotel 71 so that would be our best guess for that one.

First time trying Priceline - so thanks for all of the wisdom and facts from this board.

My first bid was $105 - rejected :)

So I added Midway area and bid $125 - and up popped the Omni!

I'm excited and off to read reviews on our hotel.

I'm glad you were able to get something comparable in quality and location to the James. The Omni's a more business-y style, but it's a terrific hotel and you may like its style more than the "hip" James.
