Mudslinger Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 This is one for the books. I'd like to know if this has ever happend to anyone else? My first bid of $59 was rejected on 4/21. I re-bid today at $67 and received the up your bid to $84 message. I realize I probably could be patient and wait until tomorrow to get it for less, but I didn't. After putting in $84 I was rejected! I couldn't believe it. It gets better. I then changed my dates from 5/21-5/23 to 5/21-5/22 and bid at $79 thinking that it was either 5/21 or 5/22 that was throwing the $84 price off and would offset the higher priced night by bidding lower on the first night. I was right and received 5/21 for $79. Then I took a shot in the dark and tried to extend my stay the extra night and I got that too! I think the original total for the two nights at the $84 a night with tax came to $199.78 and my total for $79 booking the nights seperate comes to $194.78. So word to the wise you pay $2.50 more in taxes(fees) per night when booking them seperately.Hyatt Regency Denver At Colorado Convention Center 650 15th Street Denver, Colorado 80202 303-436-1234 Check-In Date: Wednesday, May 21, 2008 Check-Out Date: Friday, May 23, 2008 Night 1:Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $79.00 Subtotal: $79.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $18.39 Total Charges for Original Reservation*: $97.39Night 2:Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $79.00 Subtotal: $79.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $18.39 Total Charges for Add.
