Priceline Hotel: Hotel close to 1000 Islands

I was wondering how much I should bid for a hotel maybe 3+ close to the 1000 Islands? My budget is $60/night, and its for just my hubby and I. Is that reasonable? Just trying to get the best deal...thanks

Entering "Gananoque, Ontario" in the PRICELINE search box at the top of this page... does this get you close to where you want to be? Are you able to enter any other nearby city name for which PRICELINE shows you zones and gets you closer?

Thanks we decided to wait until it gets warmer to visit the place since evrything opens around June.

Thanks we decided to wait until it gets warmer to visit the place since evrything opens around June.

Gananoque, Brockville & Kingston are all close to the 1000 Islands. Kingston is the largest town of about 125000 and the Holiday Inn & Sheraton Four Points sometimes show up on Priceline for around $80. Summertime might be a difficult time to get a room as there a quite a few events going on at the weekend here and Queens University has convocations for various programs from mid May to mid June.
