Ty Webb Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 Follow up to this hotel - Extended Stay America Two stars seems to be a little hi for the rating. It seems to be ready for an upgrade/re-model. Needs a real cleaning with some elbow grease. Carpet is getting old and the chair seemed dingy. Very firm mattress which is good for me but not the W. Bath room needs new flooring and there is duct tape on the wall to cover a dry-wall crack. They did paint over the tape to try and hide it. Lots of dry wall cracks in the room and down the halls. Also, they must not have maintanence because when I checked in the front desk clerk was away from the desk and helping a guest fix something in the room. Twice I walked by the front desk and there was no one there and a sign was up directing you to call them on the house phone. They have a cordless phone that does not have much range because I called when I checked in and could hear about every third word. The guy did come in about 4 or 5 minutes. I will bid a little higher next time I stay in the area.
