twinkles0819 Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 I bid on a hotel in orlando originally for Saturday, august 14th for one night(got that bid)....then I decided to add a day for august 13th(got that too)...with the news that my parents are giving me a lot of birthday money for my Orlando trip, I decided to stay another extra day. I couldn't add onto my bid already because it had been more than 30 days ago, but I put another bid and ended up with the same hotel. So my question is:3 nights at the same hotel but through 3 different confirmations, Do they really make you switch rooms??? This would be a hassle :) But it would serve me right for changing it so much :)
thereuare Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 Not a problem, just notify them when checking in that you want to link your 3 reservations. Depending upon their computer system you may have to go to the desk each day to 'officially' check-out and then check-in, but they shouldn't make you change rooms at all. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
bbbb Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 You would not have been able to add another day anyway, because on a one day bid you can only add one day. This just happened to me and I had to go to the desk and check back into the same room. They won"t make you change rooms because it would cost them $$ to change rooms and thats why you sometimes save $$ on a multi day stay.
nowhereman Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 what thereuare said. just be calm and cool with the front desk, let em know whats going on when you arive, and ask if they can block you in the same room for the other nights. if you dont there may be confusion and run around.
