ZenGarden Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 I have been trying to bid on Priceline for a 4 STAR hotel in the USE area for the past week, but have not had any success. Here are the details:May 4 to May 9/08Bid #1 $70 rejected (USE)Bid #2-$75 rejected (USE +CH)Bid #3 $80 rejected (USE + L)Bid # 4 $ 85 rejected (USE +CC)I really want a hotel in the USE area as we have friends who will be staying at the Westin at Market St. for a Java convention.I've also tried going up as high as $95 but without any success. My limit would be $100Is it harder to secure a bid because I'm trying to find a hotel for 6 nights? Thanks!

ZenGarden Posted April 15, 2008 Author Report Posted April 15, 2008 Thank a lot for pointing out the 4rth zone that I overlooked (SSF). :) I've also added USW too as another zone but no luck.I've tried splitting up my 6 nights (5 nights; 3 nights) but did not have any success either (although I went up to $85 only). I'll try tomorrow again and go up to $100. I have not made any cancelable hotel reservations but I should probably consider.
