Safari23
Hi there,New to this bidding thing. I want to use Priceline to bid on the Renaissance Hollywood for May 23-26. It appears it's the only 4* in that area, so I'm guaranteed to get that hotel right? Any suggestions on what to start the bidding at? Link to comment
coast2coast21
I think there's a Roosevelt 4* hotel in that zone too....and I'd say start bidding at about $110. Link to comment

Safari23
Thanks. After I posted that I noticed priceline added Le Montrose Suite Hotel :) Which i really don't want, so I guess I'm screwed. Is it a 50/50 chance to get the Renaissance? Is there any rhyme or reason to how it picks which hotel you get? Is it random? Does it depend on what price you bid? thereuare - sorry, I didn't end up bidding for the Ft Lauderdale hotels, my mom decided not to go :) Link to comment
