Priceline Hotel: NYC bidding help

Hello,

I am trying to bid on a 4* hotel for 4 nights sometime between 5/18 - 5/25. The zones I am willing to try are Times Square, Midtown West, Midtown East, and Upper Midtown (in order of preference). I also do not want to bid on anything less 4*. My first bid of 4*+$200+Times Square was rejected. After 24 hours, my second bid of 4*+$250+Times Square was rejected. I know springtime is difficult, but I'd like to stay under $250. Some bidding advice with those zones I listed above would be much appreciated, as well as how long I would have to wait in between those bids. Thanks in advance for any help!!
