I booked this hotel stay today. The taxes and fees totaled $43.57, so my entire charge was ($120 x 2) + $43.57 = $283.57

I really wanted a 4-star so after my first bid was rejected I just kept adding regions that appear to only offer 3-star and below (Brentwood, SM/MDR and Lawndale):

First bid (rejected): $90

Second bid (rejected): $100 and added Brentwood region

Third bid (rejected): $110 and added Santa Monica/Marina del Rey region

Fourth bid (accepted): $120 and added Lawndale region
