Tuxedo
Got around to booking the hotel for our overnight return from the Caribbean. Decided to stay in the airport area since we arrive mid-evening and need to be at the airport before noon the next day.Although we had gotten the Sofitel for $60 on our out-bound, I wanted to see if we could get something comparable for less (I know - greedy). Anyway, I initially bid $47, increasing to $53, & $59 with free re-bids, finally got accepted at $60. Looks like that's the minimum for that hotel, in that date-range, at this time. 1 Room, 1 nightRoom Charge: $60.00Room Tax: $ 7.50Fees: $ 5.95Total: $73.45 :) Link to comment
thereuare
I always like getting the same hotel, as it's more "comfortable" the second time around. You DID hit this one on the head based upon the 12.5% tax rate of this hotel. If you don't know how to use the taxes to figure out Priceline's cost, click this to read about it: Using Tax InfoNow if only the first week of April would get here already :)Welcome to the board, thanks for posting, and have a great trip.
