kaultra Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 I'm going to a conference in Copley square in April and would like to stay in a 4* hotel near by. My question is this: is it better to bid on a 3 night stay or a 2 night stay? I could drive down on friday and stay fri/sat night or just stay thu/fri/sat... I started bidding yesterday with the free re-bid zone technique and was denied each time but was also bidding very low. i'm planning on trying again tonight with the same technique :) Thanks
kaultra Posted April 1, 2008 Author Report Posted April 1, 2008 So after days of bidding i finally have been accepted! I had been bidding on a 3 night stay April 3-6 with no luck up to $180 for 4* only in Copley using the free re-bid zone technique. So i decided to drop the Thursday and won on my first bid... Westin Copley Place $110 each night for two nights. Probably might have won at a lower $ since they took my first bid! Since my conference starts early Friday morning I've been trying to win something in the boston suburbs for Thursday night. I live close enough that I could always drive in the wee hours of the morning if I wanted to! So anyways, i'm happy with my win and just wanted to share! Thanks for all the great tips on this board :)
